Recycling - Composting

Composting bins are available to residents from Perth & Kinross Council. Two sizes are available – ecoMax 80cmx80cmx103cm £6 and the Milko - summer clearance price £8. Craft Materials, Fabric, Left Over Household Paint, Books, Magazines, Dressed Wood, Timber & Mouldings, Hand Tools etc. etc. – don’t throw it out until you’ve spoken to Wisecraft! - Tel 01250 874777

Wisecraft in Lower Mill Street, Blairgowrie will recycle these materials into a variety of original art and craft items for sale in their shop. They are a work activity project for those with severe and/or enduring mental heath problems and are a registered charity.

Paper, Cardboard & Cartridges
Kirkmichael Primary School recycles paper and cardboard. You can recycle brochures, contents of junk mail, newspapers, magazines and office paper. Please do not put envelopes or plastics into the paper bin. There is a separate bin for cardboard. Both bins are situated at the school gates so you can access them at any time.

The School also recycles cartridges (printer, fax photocopier). Please hand in during school hours.

Silver Paper
Straloch Primary School recycles clean crushed up aluminium foil , takeaway trays & foil chocolate wrappers (but not foil paper wrappers). To check that it is aluminium foil scrunch up the wrapper, if it uncurls then it’s not aluminium. Foil should be handed in during school hours – please don’t leave outside.
